Rainy Hamilton
AIAM member Rainy Hamilton works as our architect.
Mr. Hamilton founded his architectural firm, Hamilton Anderson Associates, in Detroit in 1993, initially operating as a solo practitioner.
The firm has since grown to include over 50 full-time employees and has an additional office in Atlanta, GA.
In 2012, Mr. Hamilton was elevated to Fellow by the American Institute of Architects and received the AIA Detroit Gold Medal Award the following year. Mr. Hamilton served as President of the Detroit Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2001, becoming the first African American to hold this position.
He is also active with the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
Arthur Edge
Arthur Edge will oversee the Hotel Casa Blanca project and serve as general contractor.
Retired Supervising Building Inspector for City of Detroit Building Safety Engineering & Environmental Department (BSEED), Mr. Edge has over 30 years of experience in project management, consulting, and contracting, including development projects in Detroit, Inkster, and other municipalities.
He is certified in asbestos inspection, recognition, and testing.
Mr. Edge will be responsible for hiring and managing licensed construction contractors for the project.
